This world-class layout affords stunning views of majestic Haleakala and the Pacific Ocean. Located in the foothills of the West Maui Mountains, the golf holes at Kahili Golf Course had to be carefully routed with the ever-present Tradewinds in mind to create a golfing experience that was challenging yet fair to all levels of golfers.
The site is very steep and made up of mostly ancient volcanic "pahoehoe" rock with little to no soil, and contained pockets of unexploded ordinance from a post-WWII training camp located on the property that had to be thoroughly removed prior to construction. This course is a favorite among locals and visitors alike and boasts some of the best turf conditioning in Hawai'i
